How to Share Google Slides in Presentation Mode

If you want others to view your slides like a live presentation, learning how to share Google Slides in presentation mode ensures a clean, distraction-free experience.

Share presentation mode via link

In Google Slides:

1. Open your presentation
2. Click Share (top right)
3. Click Copy link
4. Change access to Anyone with the link (Viewer)
5. Paste the link in a new tab
6. Replace /edit in the URL with /present
7. Share this updated link

→ When users open it, it starts in presentation mode

Use Presenter mode while sharing screen

If you’re presenting live:

1. Click Present in Google Slides
2. Choose Presenter view
3. Share your screen via Zoom, Meet, or Teams
4. Select the slideshow window
