Use superscript (quick method)
The easiest way in Google Docs:
- Type your base number (e.g., 2)
- Type the exponent (e.g., 3)
- Select the exponent
- Press:
- Ctrl + . (Windows)
- Command + . (Mac)
→ The number will appear as an exponent (e.g., 2³)
Using the Format menu
- Select the number you want as exponent
- Click Format in the top menu
